Enter the frequency as 144.0025.
It works on my SDS, x36, and P2 scanners.
I'd like to see a screenshot from ProScan or other software, or a photo of the screen of your scanner, with it tuned to 144.0025.

I just tried it on a 996P2, a 536HP, and an SDS200...no joy on any of them. 144.000 or 144.005...nothing in between regardless of the step size setting for that band.

I put each scanner on hold and did a direct entry.
Just tried my 346XT, and no go with quick tune direct entry. Entering 144.0 puts the scanner on 144.0050MHz, and rotating the channel knob down lands on 144.0000MHz. Expected behavior, as the minimum stepping on Uniden scanners is 5 kHz, not 2.5 kHz. A GRE/Whistler with FlexStep should be able to tune in 1.25 kHz steps...but not a Uniden.

Are you certain that you're seeing 144.0025 and not 144.0250?

Doing a direct entry from a channel hold on a 536HP and SDS200 does allow 144.00250.
I can also add these with Sentinel and write them to the 536 (did not try the sds200) and they do stick when I look at them with the scanner.
Now if the scanner is actually tuning that frequency as entered is another story. I don't feel like hooking up a signal generator and running any tests.
I also tried 144.00750 and that works as well. So much for Uniden's step sizes but maybe they affect search ranges only?
