Hey Guys, Just programmed my Pro-95. Got a list of all the Florence County trunked frequencies and the TGID's. I hear everyone great, SD, FD, PD and EMS but I cannot find the Highway Patrol anywhere. I double checked the TGID and it's right. Any idea's? David

You can find HP on the Palmetto 800 TRS. Try monitoring cells 54, 55, and 56. Check out the database on this website for the frequencies (you only need the control channels for the Pro-95). HP in Florence, Marion, and Dillon Counties use talkgroup 29200. They still have access to the Florence Co. talkgroups but I'm not from the area so I have no idea if those two HP talkgroups are used anymore.

SCHP low band gone?

So are the 42 MHz low band frequencies completely gone or are they still used for simulcast?

I think I heard a smidgen of activity on them when I was through SC at Christmas time.

Thanx!!

If the 42MHz freqs are used at all, it's just for chit-chat between the troopers. It's not used for dispatch at all. The state no longer maintains the low-band radios for the SCHP.
