Seems nothing I do allows me to edit or move some files in the root directory like the sys folder where class exists etc... I tried sudo, sudo su, etc... nothing. What am I doing wrong?

What is the need for modifying the /sys folder? As I understand it, /sys is a psuedo filesystem which holds kernel's device object information and can't be edited directly when the system is booted, even with root access.
