I can not re-program my scanner GRSPSR 500/600 digital trucking scanner, it only gets one channel instead of the 9 it was programmed to get. I need help with doing it myself with someone on the phone. If I can not get the help I will cancel this and put in a dispute with paypal if I don't hear from someone by the end of the day.

Do not do a factory reset, or You will lose everything programed in it.

Now that I got that off my chest, there are plenty of people here more than willing to help. We've all had issues before where programming the scanner did not make since.
Let's start w/ what County you are in (assuming N.C. state). Are you using any software? What do you want to listen to?

Maybe the OP doesn't understand that RR is a public forum not a manufacturer sponsored support site. 
I haven't try that on my scanner yet not too knowageable pc programing scanner like that.
I always punch in programing my scanner long process but it works...

Who programmed it for you to begin with? It sounds like they charged you for doing that. Why don't you call them?
hi, the only thing I have is the cables that came with it and the psr-600 advanced digital moble / based disk demo pc application usb driver owener's manual that came with it. usb cable that plugs into scanner and computer

Yes that cable will let You program your scanner with software.
There are choices to do with this most have a 30 trial period, and can be used to program your scanner.
Here is a link for the software>> Object Oriented Scanner Software - The RadioReference Wiki
It's your choice on what You use, I use Win500, because I found it the easiest to use.
What ever You choose will let You download from the RadioReference data base.
Your area may have went threw the re-banding proses, and that may be the reason your not hearing them now.
I will try that I have sent it back to scanner master about 5 times already and each time it works for a while and then stops, and I send it back and the last two times it came back and I turned it on and it will only get one channel. I always pay for shipping it and for them to reprograme it and pay for them to send it back and it still does not work right. I am tired of paying them. we use to have a place here that programed them but it went out of business. I can't seem to find a place anywhere in N C that does them.

Try the software as Ronnie recommended and see if you can download from the radioreference database.
If that doesn't work, maybe we can talk you through uploading a file to this forum and try to see what is holding you back.
Also, I am not sure what you understand about the scanner. Do you know how to advance through channels and do things such as turning scanlists on and off?

i would like the following channels programed into it 1. Goldsboro PD
2. Goldsboro FD
3. Wayne County Sheriff
4. Wayne County FD EMS
5. Wayne County PD
6. Wayne County convent
7. Wayne Co. Viper
8. NC Hwy Patoral
9. NC Common/Shared
This is the way they are suppose to be set up but I can only receive station 4 I got this from the list they sent me when I had them to reprogram it.
