Cant hear these freq's now.But I could a few days ago.

Hi guys,
I used to hear these freq's before http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=TRSDB&sid=3711
but now it stops for a milisecond then goes to the next channel for a millisecond and I dont hear anything.I have it set up as MO and have all the TG's entered but what am I doing wrong?
PS: Im using a pro-96 and I just noticed that nect to the frequency it is on,to the left of that it says VC, Is that my problem?I'm all lost now
Attached is a file name davismonthan in .p96 format if you could look at it and tell me whats wrong.Thanks guys.

Not to my knowledge there not encrypted.I moved them up one and still cant hear them.

VC means Voice Channel, so you are picking up the transmisions. Try hooking your scanner up to an external speaker and see if you hear anything. Also put your scanner on one of the weather channels to see if it is your speaker that is your problem.

Ok weather channel I am picking up,local PD also picking up,something is wrong with either my setting's or something else.Thanks for the help.Anyone else look at the .p96 filez and have any idea?

I noticed you seem to have bank 0 and 1 both set up for this system. I would disable at least one of these banks if you haven't already.

I believe there is a restore radio to factory settings and clear all memory option (somewhere) -- you could try that, but it may be no different than programming with Win96.

Other than that, the settings seem identical to settings I use for a Motorola Digital system in my area.

did you use the custom frequency table that is located at the top of the database on this website? if not... thats a BIG part of the system that you need to program into win96
