I've been a registered for a dozen or more years and as of about a week ago I can no longer log in. I've tried re-registering, sending e-mails all resulting in the same error message "the submitted form is invalid". I see other people posting messages so I'm not sure what's going on.

Correct, you can only log in using https:// (The forums will be set shortly to forced redirect to there.)

A security patch applied broke the http:// login from working.

Also no one has contacted me on this offline, so I was unaware of anyone having any issues.

I was using the "contact a board administrator" page to try to send an e-mail but of course that was also giving me the invalid message.

All set now thank you!

Mike, I was having the same problem as others, but only from my main desktop. It was only after seeing the post here that the thought popped into my mind to try the SSL link. I think people might be seeing the user portal post and just waiting it out.

Gotcha. Well I just made a board modification that forces everyone to the https:// side, hopefully this resolves everything.

(Except the user module, which is still broken and disabled).
