I noticed today that I was unable to "ping" the RR audio servers. I assume this is intentional?
If so, it makes it really hard to assess bandwidth congestion issues between a source and a destination.
For example, I'm getting reports of people having ScannerCast feeds disconnect. The logs all look like network congestion (timeouts of various types, basically). I'm not seeing this on ANY of my own personal feeds, however. So, it would be interesting to have people do a "ping -t" from their system to one of the RR audio servers to try to assess the overall network latency and congestion they have between them and RR...
