When querying a known Public Safety freq in the "Search Colorado FCC Licenses", I get this response:

error on FCC Query->
Table 'rrdb.EN' doesn't exist

I tried multiple frequencies with the same result.

I was also just trying to search through some FCC licenses and am getting error responses and failures to load.

F.C.C. Part 90 Database... :-(

Hi Guys,

Yeah, the F.C.C. database is kinda screwy. It's also highly inaccurate.
There are a lot of entries, that the agencies have either moved to
higher frequencies. let their licenses expire, attatched themselves to a
digital talk system (i.e. East Texas Medical Center) and rent radios and
'time' on their system. OR if the department is small enough, gone the
cell 'phone route. The whole mess needs to be cleaned up by sending
letters to thoses radio administrators and query them as to operations
of those agencies and call signs so they could be reissued at a later
time.

Then two, they don't have a "back-up" computer to put on-line while
the Main is being serviced or is down. For ALL the money in taxes they
get from us, you'd thing the system would run better. Maybe after 2012
we can demand such a cleanup in the not wasting our money!

This was a friendly message and no politicians were named or harmed.

GOD BLESS,
73,

Don/Ka5LQJ
