Can you maybe better explain what your trying to do?

I use 2 instances of @ProScan One target model to SDS and the other to 436. Can read the 436 into proscan and save it. Open other instance set for 200 and write to it.

You could probably read one scanner in and the change target model and write back. Never tried that was.

Do you get any error messages?
Is the scanner in Mass Storage Mode?
Does the scanner show up in Device Manager?
Have you rebooted the computer?
Both are in MSM. Proscan records the activity fine on both.
Proscan is using the serial mode when recording activity. It is not accessing the SD card

Does the scanner show up in Device Manager when in MSM?

Your post in the ProScan thread says you are getting a "scan the card" error message. Have you scanned the cards for errors?

I have had them in separate directories every time, there was a new upgrade to Proscan. It has worked for more than a year.

Possible something got overwritten when applying the update. I would verify both instances are still pointing to the same database file.

I am beginning to think that. Now, I just have to figure out. How to remove them from the scanners, without breaking the latches(I already that once with the BCD436HP).
