If indeed this is a firewall problem at your router, you will need to be able to sign onto your router's access through an admin password. If I just spoke Greek, I'd suggest you get in touch with someone that knows network administration

What OS are you running at your PC? You will need to also check the firewall there - and I would also check your antivirus to see if it may be the issue.

Where did you get the copy of Sentinel - with the radio or the download.

2.03 ver 4 is the current.

There have been issues with satellite internet users also.

I was getting same error after a recent Windows update. It was fixed after I went into a setting to revert back to system before the update, all fine again. I wish I knew though what the problem was.

What is the Sentinel firmware version should be version 2.02 (revision 04). Open sentinel and look under help about.

It was under control panel/settings I believe, there was a spot to revert back to earlier time or earlier status or something to that effect. (I am not using that computer at the moment but when I do I will try to find it again). It was pretty easy to find if I remember correctly. It was working up until mid Jan but then stopped after an update mid Feb so I went back to Jan.

Most important question - what OS are you using, kaiser? Win7, Win8, ect. and what flavor - Home, Professional, etc.

Be very specific here - the answers you need are, to a certain extent, OS dependent...Mike

You could have an out dated copy of Sentinel on your computer that will never update, that is why I have asked you what is the version. Open Sentinel go to help, then about see what it says about your sentinel should be version 2.02 (revision 04) if its not you will get an error.

You can get the latest version of sentinel here.
