While searching TAFL I found a "pending" assignment for Cantley FD
(and Works?) on 165.045. It looks like narrowband analog but may be
too early to tell, but worth keeping an eye on. Unknown is if this will
ultimately repalce the current 151.205 repeater.
This all started with a Close-Call hit on 170.190 which turns out to be
Stock school busses; nothing new. A TAFL Geographic Area search
around one frequency often turns up new things, in this case the input
frequency 170.025 .
Also (unrelated), MRC de Papineau appears to be rolling out a new
VHF digital system, type unknown but it is one of the newer formats
(TRBO, Nexedge...) I can "hear" activity on 152.435 (weak), 152.555,
and 153.035.
