Are the Canton Police using encryption full time? During a very brief visit through the area, I caught a clear digital transmission on a Sherrif talkgroup the datbase says is encrypted. (16048)

Canton PD uses encryption full-time.

On 16048 (Stark County SO), they should be using encryption full time. However, someone may have turned their encryption off for one reason or another.

Everyonce in a while you can hear traffic on Canton PD3. They usually talk about transporting prisoners. I haven't heard any traffic on the other PD channels.
