Any new TG's pop up guys? Some of these new ones haven't had much traffic.

Here are a couple of talkgroups that are very active today [and perhaps every day]. I'm monitoring the system from afar, so I can't get a good decode on the voice. But these two are definitely quite active. Any idea what they are?
2416
21392
Less active:
41136
41168
41616

21392 sounds like one of the colleges, they mentioned "campus". I'm just not sure which one.
I believe on Sunday, I was listening to a couple of guys doing some testing while driving around between Canal Fulton and Barberton, just checking random areas. They were checking both the trs and they mentioned their "400 radio" but I could not hear anything in Stark on UHF that sounded like testing. This was on 19984.
2416 maybe sounds like the water dpt. The dispatcher keeps talking about turning services on at different locations.
21360 is listed as Stark State Security... but all I'm hearing is the campus Shuttle, so it is close to 21392, it appears to be in a range that could be assigned to Stark State.21392 sounds like one of the colleges, they mentioned "campus". I'm just not sure which one.

Yes turn on's and off's for delinquents, talk about missing manhole covers, etc... I would say this is Canton City Water.

Fellas,
Is this analog or digital?
Mike
My apologies.
21392 is digital
2416 is digital
I will be listening and will keep you guys posted.
Ok I think I know what is going on. All 4xxxx talkroups in the DB are analog. It looks like Canton Water probably switched to digital, and as such they were assigned a new talkgroup below the 4xxxx range. I left the old Canton Water talkgroup in there, but I suspect all activity is probably on the new Canton Water talkgroup.
I'd guess that as other city services are moved off of analog [if they are], then they will likely be assigned talkgroups below 4xxxx as well.
Thanks for the info!
Mike
I’m confused, two radio units were testing on TG 19984 Stark County, but all the locations were in Barberton and they went out at Barberton FD.
They did reference when I first hear them a Station 3, Belden Village?
So I was thinking Jackson Township, but addresses were all up in Summit County.
Though my guess right now is perhaps Jackson Township? Bears monitoring.
Unit numbers were 805 & 819 if that translates to a known FD
I believe that's what I was listening to the other day. Did you hear them today?
Yes, and I kept mapping locations... the only one that was in Stark was Belden Village, And a Station 3 so that narrows it down.
Is is looking like TG 41168 is Canton City Building/Code which is why they call the units building ##
It is for the city, not 100% sure of use, probably 75% at this point.
