anybody know what frequincies cap flights might be on in the u.p. i live at sawyer near gwinn and lately there has been flights in and out like crazy.......................................................

They could be scoutting for wildfires. There's been a ton.

Go to the Milair.com site and it will list the freq's you are looking for...I heard a lot of tfc from the DNR yesterday on talk group 7034 out the the East End...heard Air 3 and 4 and Air 1 looking for fires and there was a good fire off N. Caribou Rd near De Tour...If you don't have the new digital scanner you're missing all the action!
