Piper PA-38 Cherokee N55093 registered out of Webster, TX and filed KAPA to New Mexico missing since Sat afternoon crash site has been located in Douglas County.
Douglas County sheriff's spokeswoman Deborah Sherman says a rancher found a Cherokee Piper PA-28 plane in a cow pasture Sunday. The Federal Aviation Administration says the plane took off Saturday with one person aboard from Sandia Airpark Estates east of Albuquerque and was headed to Centennial Airport south of Denver. It was reported overdue early Sunday.
Sherman said release of the identity of the man killed is pending notification of next of kin.
