CAP+ Single Site Voice Following and Fastlane

Hello Fastlane users.

Some CAP+ single site systems voice follow fine, and others do not.

The only thing I notice is that the system frequencies do not show up in the CC activity window.
Occasionally, the frequencies will appear and then quickly disappear.

The sites that work show the system frequencies.

Has anyone any ideas on this issue?

Are the freqs for the system that voice follows correctly and the system that does not voice follow both listed in the DSDPLUS.frequencies file?

Yes they are, with different site numbers.

I also tried a test DSDPLUS.frequencies file containing only the problem site.

You have to use the network ID and site number that DSD+ displays.

If 8888, 2 isn't working, then I'd guess that the DSD+ event window isn't displaying NID 8888 and site number 2.

Using 9468 as NID since 9468 is the RRDB system number in the UR to that system in the database. Could be whatever you want. I'm sure your 8888 is fine.

Assuming what is listed in the DB is accurate for LCN information (and I imagine it is), the following should work.

Cap+,9468,"Bell Mobility Business Solutions"

DSDPlus.Sites
Cap+,9468,1,"QE Tower"

DSDPlus.Frequencies
Cap+, 9468, 1, 1, 451.3500, 0.0, 0

This is interesting, DSD does not display a NID or site number for that system.

The CAP+ sites that do work display the site number and NL list, however they are linked sites.

So I will do a little more digging and try other single sites to try.

Well it seems that the CC DSD display window is missing some site date.

Also tried SDR to DSD with same results.

Perhaps just an anomaly?

Do you have any other entries with the same frequencies in your DSDPlus.frequencies file? If so, DSD+ could be looking at them instead of your 8888 entries?

Problem Solved.

I have been trying various settings, and changing the site number to 0 corrected the issue.

slicerwizard ► earlier I tried a test dsdplus.frequencies file that contained only this site in order to eliminate any issues in that file.
