I saw on the capital area fire website that they have added ch 11 154.355 pl 136.5 except it now says future primary repeated dispatch. Looks to me like it is going to be on a repeater. I wonder where this repeater will be located, as well as when this will happen? Very interesting.

I was just wondering the timeframe will be? I know it’s 154.355 pl 136.5 but wondered where the repeater will be located and when it might be completed?

It will eventually replace Channel 1 as the compact-wide primary dispatch channel at all sites.

If you're going to ask what the input frequency will be, don't. No one here needs to know for their scanners to work.

Nobody needs to know for sure but anyone with a half a brain cell can figure it out pretty easily.

I’m just curious, I know that capital area dispatch channel 154.355 will be changing to repeater. I’m wondering what that will do? Will I be able to hear 2 way communications better? I’m wondering what will change tge the implementation of repeaters?

So I understand the reasoning behind not wanting to publish the input to give the Baofeng folks an easy route.

However, knowing the input can be useful to the scanner user, if you missed the dispatch, but hear the units calling into the repeater nearby your location, you'll hear it.

As @12dbsinad stated, it's won't be hard to figure out.

I’m not looking for the input frequency, I already know it, but I just wonder what changes will there be once the repeaters are added?

You'll be able to hear all traffic all the time as long as you're in coverage of the system

Also comes with downsides and that is if you can't access the receiver(s) reliably nobody hears anything even locally on a scene
