Capital area scanner club forming

The Schenectady Museum Amateur Radio Association (SMARA) invites scanner listeners in the Albany/Schenectady/Troy/Saratoga, etc. areas to its social meeting this Thursday, May 18, at 19:00 at the Schenectady Museum on Nott Terrace. The Association intends to offer a club station and meeting place for scanner hobbyists as an extension of their existing services to ham operators. The kickoff/invitation is Thursday.
