Hey all, just noticed this morning it seems like something is up with Capital Fire Alarm, this morning I was hearing them perfectly clear with my roof antenna and BCD996p2. I host the Merrimack County public safety feed on Broadcastify. Now several hours later they are coming in very scratchy and distorted on many transmissions (not all). I’m also noticing a real drop in signal quality on this frequency on my mobile radio in the car so I don’t think it’s my equipment at the house. Anyone else noticing this? Seems to be random.

They might be on an alternate transmitter site, due to damage, service or acts of god on their primary hardware. It happens.

I will say the radio reception on CARFMAC is not like it used to be. I can hear LRFMAC dispatchers crystal clear from Exeter but CARFMAC is now barely making it out here. I get it that Lawrence FD? is also operating on this same frequency, but I'm dissapointed that CARFMAC doesn't transmit well like it used to. Almost all static garble now.

Yea, maybe they changed transmit power, sites, etc. I can hear them fine from Wolfeboro with my roof antenna but I agree, not like it used to be. Lakes is an unbelievably powerful system. In my car sitting in Portsmouth I get Lakes better than Rockingham haha.

I hear Capital Dispatch frequently in central Coos County, NH, as well as central Essex County, VT, when aligned with the valleys between there and here.
