Indaina State Capitol Police officers are marking out of service going to have radios re-programed.Safe-t talkgroup 4608. Could this be the start of the re-banding in the Metro Indianapolis/Marion County area for safe-t? Tuesday 6-15-2010 3:39PM

Just a reminder to all that rebanding requires three broad steps:

Step 1--Program the radios with new templates that contain both the current frequencies and the rebanded frequencies.

Step 2--Change the sites over to the rebanded frequencies.

Step 3--Reprogram the radios deleting the templates with the old frequencies.

As far as I know, SAFE-T is still working on Step 1. There are a lot of radios that have to be programmed before the sites can be changed over.

Bob, they are doing step one and this is the first step.It has been posted that all of the state will be getting rebanded. When all the steps are done we will have to change the control freqs for the safe-t sites in order to hear them.
