Car antenna cable recommendation

Someone on Ebay has new Belden R62 B/U. It appears the core wire is braided as opposed to solid.
Concerns? Thoughts?

More flexible, but make sure the connectors you use are designed for a stranded center conductor.

So now I need to find a source of RG62 cable in something less than a 1000 foot spool.

You may want to look at this listing on eBay for new Commscope RG62A/U coax at $1.23 per foot or Best Offer with free shipping Pardon Our Interruption...

I would highly recommend adding 1-2 feet of extra cable at both ends of the cable run for easy servicing.
A minimum 8-inch diameter coax loop or "S" curve of extra coax would work.

Your red paint job looks great and the engine area looks absolutely amazing!

My first guess of your 1963 drive train was a 283 V8 with a 2-speed Powerglide.
The 327 V8 with a 3 speed manual trans is awesome!
Your pictures brought back many memories of successful frame off restorations that I did many years ago.
