I just joined with the hope of finding information to use for some upcoming upgrades to my car. Currently, I have had a bit of trouble finding an antenna, for use with a magnetic mount of the trunk of my vehicle that I can connect to a BCD396T. I know almost nothing about this, as I have just recently become interested in CBs and scanners.
My goal is to find an antenna that will allow for optimal monitoring with the trunking IV system. For my purposes, I need a VERY strong magnetic base, and an antenna hopefully exceeding 3ft in height. I have heard good things about antenex, and have been looking into their products. Unfortunately, I still do not really know what to look for, due to my general novice level in this field.
Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. I did search around the forum a bit for answers to this, but could not find any examples of what I'm trying to do.
