For now, CF is on the TXU EDACS Narrowband system here. The Cedar Hill site is probably your best chance, but it's not likely you'll hear the Dallas choppers there unless they're in the Cedar Hill area. Rumors are that they will not be on the TXU system much longer, however.

CF also has some conventional freqs, but it's my understanding that they're not used much at this time. Sometimes, you will hear the helos relay patient information on one of the common Med channels as well.

CareFlite dispatch has an ARINC frequency of 131.675.
All of the medical helicopters in the DFW area use it for traffic advisory
around the hospitals, etc. and for flight following if they are out of range of their home base. I have also heard the police & traffic reporter aircraft
occasionally if they get close to one of the hospitals.

*Note to musicman and Justin* with a good antenna and great elevation you might be able to get several sites by TXU. it is a wide-area system and being in Red Oak, you might be able to get alot of the smaller "Gap-Fill" sites. and at times hear all the way to Killeen providing the system is open.

CJ Could inform us better if he were ghosting around still, But I'm sure with his busy life he dosn't make it here very often anymore.
