Careflite

Does anyone have any Info on when or if Careflite Air Medical will start using the LTR System,I'm still hearing most of their CF Air on the Cerntower,and Dallas/Ft.Worth(ARINC).I haven't heard any "Standbys"or Tones for Hospital Pt. Transfers,or MVA's,etc.
Careflite Ground must be on the Johnson Co. LTR Site because I haven't caught any Ground traffic in weeks>

Formerly owned by Delta Communications and Now owned by TeleTouch Licenses the LTR system Careflite GROUND will use is a PASSPORT system and theirfore NOT scannable. I believe the system is based in Dallas County, However a Passport system can cover some ground. CF Air is still being coppied on 131.675 and various Med frequencies because, to My understanding, LTR Can't be used in the air. but, Ground is "Supposed" to be curantly on the LTR or shifting to it from TXU. Mind you, EVERYONE has to be off TXU by December-05.

Well Careflite Ground has already made the switch to the LTR System I think it was 6/1/05.because I still listen to Lifestar(AMR Dallas)and Flight For Life and there is nothing on Careflite's old ID's.
I would think that Lifestar will go back to the (453.1750)PL.123.0 AMR(Dallas) because they still Dispatch Lifestar 3 on that Freq.Lifestar 1 and 2 are still on the TXU System. I dont't know why Lifestar 3 never used the TXU System.If anyone has the anwser please post it.

Carflite Ground is in fact now on the Johnson County LTR site. Not sure how long they have been on it, but I've been listening to them since June 22nd. Here's a link to the frequencies and talkgroup I use, if you need them:

I got this info from a Cleburne PD officer, and then submitted it to RR, as their info wasn't accurate, or least ways up to date.

I'm not sure when the helo's will make the switch.
But if and when they do they will not be scannable because Dallas, Tarrant and a portions of some neighboring counties are Passport. The Johnson County site is NOT Passport, it's standard LTR and is VERY much scannable. The link below is the coverage map for Teletouch. It shows what areas are Passport and what areas are standard LTR.

Careflite LTR

Question? The LTR Site map shows that the coverage in McKinney is **NOT**LTR PASSPORT,can I scan that site in McKinney and hear Careflite Air if they go to the LTR Passport?I live in Garland and can see by the map that the sites in Dallas,Rowlett,and Garland are LTR Passport,but by scanning a **NON**LTR Passpot site will I be able to receive them?
I think i know the anwser but I have to ask!!
