Snagged a last minute Christmas cruise for 7 days and only $271 out of Port Canaveral on the Carnival Venezia

I forgot to include this little tidbit. It was really interesting. A child went missing one night. I went back and listened to the recordings of the search by security. It started shortly after 1 AM. There is a 1Am curfew on Carnival for under 18 years old so I guess the parents noticed their kid wasn't back by then and alerted the crew. They systematically searched all the public areas. Then around 430-5AM they made a ship wide announcement including inside all the cabins that there was an emergency on board and someone was missing. The cabin attendants will be coming to each cabin and counting how many people were in each. And they did that. About 30 minutes later the person was found.
I little excitement for the parents right before Christmas. All's well that ends well I 'spose.
