460.0875 / 465.0875 - Repeater - Mechanicstown Transmitter Site

You folks in and around Carroll Co should plug these freqs in and see if any are active yet. If so, note PL/DCS codes are in use, who you are hearing on these, etc and submit to the RRDB when you've got something. They may or may not even actually be in service yet. But listen for them.

Me too. The license lists that it'll be fore Fire/EMS, but it sure would be nice if it also included the damned SO. They need to get off of the ancient simplex system so we can all hear them

Amen to that. I was impressed that I could hear them on 453.2625 clear as a bell from my house in Louisville.

My guess - the xmitters likely aren't even online yet. But the presence of license would indicate intent. So keep your ears peeled.

The one that they do have up and running sounds GREAT from my house. I can even hear Minerva on it!
