hello how good is the nylon case for the psr-500 that scanner master offers for 20 bucks, is the fit good and overall is the money worth it is there any problems that anyone has had from this case. thanks for everyones response to this

Hi Frank... if you are asking about the Area 51 Case for the PSR 500, I am love mine. My radio hangs around my neck for my entire shift and the case, being lined with neoprene, takes a lot of the abuse that otherwise would go to the scanner.... It has paid for itself a number of times in the six months I have had the scanner....

I have tried both. I prefere the leather case at Scanner Master. For the work I do it is more protective of the radio. The area 51 case does cover the kedboard thou. Cant go wrong with either one

I have had the leather case for my 500 for a few months now, and love it. It makes the scanner seem much more durable in my opinion.
