Has Cass County Sheriff gone on-line with the MPSCS?

I keep hearing talk group 3148 and it sounds like Cass County Central Dispatch.

I have heard talkgroup 3148 also, and believe it is Van Buren County.

It occasionally shows up on the Coloma tower.

It's a very active talkgroup on the Sumnerville tower, and all the locations I have heard were in Cass County.

Yes, guilty as charged. Late 60's early 70's at Heath Company.

talkgroup 3148 is a simulcast of Cass County 155.595. They don't appear to be buffering, as many of the beginnings of transmissions are chopped off. I heard mention their techs are still working on it.

Cass county central dispatch can also transmit directly on this talkgroup.

where is this sumnerville tower located?

I was wondering if anyone knows where this tower is located! The reason I am asking about this, is that a few years ago a tower was builted on Thomson Road, half way between sumnerville and pokagon. I live in pokagon and everyone out here been trying to guess what this tower is for?

Alot of people have said Nextel, It just be interesting to know if this tower os the MSPCS yower,

This is accessible by clicking on the tower name in the database, then the call sign. At the bottom of that page is a map that shows the approximate location of the tower. You can zoom in on it and get a good idea of where it's located.

On the map, it looks like it's directly north of Niles off of Chapel road, so it would not be that tower that you're looking at. If you can get an approximate Latitude/Longitude, you could search the FCC site to get an good idea who that tower belongs to.

The sumnerville tower is at 8516 Chapel Rd.
