CASTLE ROCK - A five-car crash killed one person and critically injured one other Friday evening on southbound I-25 near the Founders Parkway exit.

The accident happened just before 7 p.m., the State Patrol says. Investigators say it was a chain reaction rear end crash.

The critically injured person was airlifted to the hospital. No other details about the crash have been released.

A 2nd patient has now died from this accident, the 15 y/o female flown to Swedish via L/G 3 has perished from her injuries.

Is that the same crash? It looks like two seperate crashes to me. It looks like one is on crash is on the highway and one is on the highway. Both of those crashes are horrible. Bless the hearts of the families of the victims of that horrible crash(es)

Two seperate accidents over a period of about three hours.
