my cable tv box has 4 sockets that i can use for cat 6, but i need 5 outlets, 2 cables for 2 computers, one for google cast ultra one for the smart tv. can i put a splitter on one of the outlets to pickup one more cable, or am i out of luck. thanking everyone in advance for any and all info.

"google cast ultra" is actually Chromecast Ultra and it's meant to be plugged into your TV, not your cable router.

Use a Hub since it's basically just sends the packets through without any modification or routing.
