My scanner is still online, and it's still scanning Jackson and Harrison County Trunked public safety. As well, some Keesler AFB freqs.

Listen in 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The scanner will remain online durning the incoming hurricane (dennis) provided the T1 line doesn't die or there isn't a major power outage.

The scanner is in the projected path of the storm so things are going to get harry. Could be interesting listening. With multiple fire departments, police departments and county emergency operations comms all broadcasting on the net.

Don't know about Mississippi, but Alabama DPS Special Operations platoons are already deployed. They are staging in Montgomery awaiting Dennis' landfall.

hey I appreciate that.

I'm sorry the feed died today. I've been having a bit of trouble with the server shutting down at random times. Unfortunately it's mostly happening when I'm not in the office. I replaced the power supply a few months ago, and I have the case wide open so it's getting plenty of air circulation. I just can't figure out what else could be causing it to shut down.

I disabled a couple of features on the OS to see if that helps. If I can't figure it out soon I'm just going to build me a new server to put it on.

As of right now (8:12 PM CST) it's back on. I hope it remains that way.
