Still not working yet...7/11/2018

The trunked system still is NOT fully operational. You'll know it is when you begin to hear the Sheriff's Dispatcher(s) assigning Trunked Channels whenever there is a incident such as a Structure Fire. That still is not happening. And if you notice the Database here on RR hasn't been updated since April. Still needs to be updated with newer information. The April update does NOTHING. I downloaded the April Update to my RS Pro 197 which is Digital P25 Phase 1 Compatible and it did nothing....

Stopped hearing the State Park PD on 5011. Anyone know where they may have moved to? I also noticed that the Village of Alleganey is on 5009 & it is not listed in the database. Any other talkgroups out there that I'm not aware of?

Also, anyone know what type of system the SNI marshals are on?

Did you submit that? The database relies off submissions from listeners to update. Im just south of Buffalo so I'm out of range from monitoring it. I submitted a TG or two before when I was down in the area and was monitoring last January. I don't know the SNI Marshals are on a radio system for sure. In the past, I hear on ECSO Radio for them to call Sheriffs Radio. I haven't herd that lately now that you mention SNI Marshals. I have been monitoring a Cap+ system, but its not active, nor submitted yet because I know have all the information on it, nor know who the users/TG's belong to, but the license belongs to SNI, so its a possibility they may be one of them. There isn't much traffic on it so it makes it hard, and I get a weak signal on it in Buffalo. If you have a DMR capable scanner, look up WQXI615

ULS License - Public Safety Pool, Trunked License - WQXI615 - SENECA NATION OF INDIANS,

No, I haven't submitted it yet. I noticed the 5009 tag on the Catt Co feed. I am going to listen to it on my own scanner and see what I hear before I submit it. Thanks for the other info & still searching for the State Park PD.

Okay here is the latest. I heard the State Park PD pop up on 5012. Also, heard County fire units requesting radio checks on FIRE TAC ONE witch was 9009.

The Latest word is that Radio Service is going around District by District and Migrating All radios over to the Trunked System. Now the issue is apparently what Radio Service is utilized. I'm assuming that it depends on the techs for Eagle Radio and Or Saia. Have heard some departments already using the Trunked system, but others still aren't, as the days go by in the near future More should be using it. Which leads me to believe that they are waiting to be changed over. It will be interesting to see how long it takes to get everyone switched over.

Did some more monitoring yesterday. I heard Farmersville Fire Dept units on 9010, maybe a fire tac channel? Sounded like the radio service was assigning id's to the various radios. I also heard encrypted traffic on 5014.

Found some more unverified talk groups today.

6002 sounds like county DPW
8004 Gowanda EMS private channel
9011 Fire units from Randolph & E Randolph conducting radio checks

Not to steer this thread onto another TRS, but I tried monitoring that Cap+ system I told you about. Tonight I've been intermittently getting a fair amount of activity on TG 102. Talks of serving a writ at an address in Salamanca, heading out of the office and securing a building. I never monitored SNI Marshals before, but to me... sounds like something that would be them.. you being down that way probably have the best chance of figuring it all out. I got that on the 453.2875 frequency. Showing CC 8, Channels 3/4

Please keep monitoring, area departments are coming "on-line" to the new system daily. Like I said they are going district by district upgrading the radios. Some FD's still haven't been converted over yet. I am hearing some District 1 FD's which is Gowanda area, but not others in that District, so it sounds like it's piece meal, some in this round and the others will catch up later. Not sure how many FD's will be converted over in each District, this time. considering there are 5 total districts in the County.

More unverified talk groups found.

8020 sounded like fire police directing traffic at a mva on 219 in Great Valley
8023 sounded like a EMS tac frequency
9013 heard someone say radio check on fire tac 5

I think someone told the guys on the DPW talk group that it is a "private" channel & no one can hear them. It literally sounds worse than CB radio.

OT: Unprofessionalism on the air is typical of DPW channels in most places I have monitored. A ham friend of mine used to work for a very large DPW-style operation and his coworkers didn't believe him when he told them that they could be heard or that there were rules. Lots of swearing on that channel.

Not ready to make any official submissions yet. I am still hearing a lot of radio checks. Today I heard something interesting on talk group 5017. It sounds like the Seneca Nation might be migrating to the new system. I heard a SNI dispatcher talking to a SNI game warden.

Some other groups I may not have mentioned:

9007 Fire operations tac 4
9010 Fire operations TAC 2

Yep, I did the new submission. I have been monitoring for a few weeks and submitted all the talk groups that I could confirm. I'm sure there are a few more talk groups that are not used much that I didn't find. I'll keep listening.

I saw a lot that alot of submissions were added. Im just a little to far away to get anything on the system, but leads me to the question, did they cut off all the low-band fire channels, VHF-Hi Salamanca and remaining analog other than the fire alerting? just wondering
