I am looking for someone who might know either Cavalry Medical Transport, INC. (Private Ambulance Service) in Forsyth County. Or NuCare Ambulance Service (SAME)

I've searched both FCC as well as here, with nothing. I've searched the bands I thought they were on...with nothing...I'm pretty sure both are UHF, which limits alittle. Yet it is nearly impossible to track them down for some reason.

Besides operating on the WS/FC system, CMT also has a talkgroup on a LTR system belonging to RCS that has a tower on the Integon Building. So far I have found:

451.4125 LCN 1
452.1125 LCN 5
452.7125 LCN 9

CMT's Talkgroup is 0-01-150, it appears their non-emergency transports are dispatched on this system.

Others are WSTA on 0-09-160 and 0-09-161, also Parkway Wrecker on 0-01-101

You might want to listen to 155.265 Mhz.

If I am not mistaken, this frequency was once licensed to the old no longer in service Tom Higgs Ambulance Service. This was the primary private ambulance service that served Winston-Salen/Foryth County for years till he retired, sold out or went out of business.

Wanted to chime in here. You will not here anything from Cavalry anymore. The company went out of business around the end of 2005 into early 2006 after Forsyth County voted to terminate the franchise agreement.

I used to be an employee of Cavalry (aka CMT). There were a number of internal problems from within the owernership levels of the company. I'm not going to get into nasty details, it just wasn't pretty.

You may have some luck monitoting NuCare on the given frequencies. I know the guys that are stationed here in Salisbury use mainly Nextel (or other cell service), and the Salisbury/Rowan TRS.

Hope this helps !!!

***Let me note that NuCare doesn't have a dispatch TG on the Salisbury/Rowan system. They use it when picking up calls for the county (as they are a Paramedic level provider here), and if they have an emergency/back up/mutual aid.***
