CB Chatter (Quinte West)

Hi All,

I’m hearing a lot of CB chatter and all of them sound American. Of course, I have no idea what they’re talking about as it certainly sounds like truckers.

I’m along the 401 corridor - is this where I’m picking it up or do they think it’s from across the lake. I have never heard one that doesn’t sound southern.

CB is down in the 26-27 MHz range.

I believe it was in the CB range and they were definitely truckers.

Using an HP2 and a diamond SRH789.

Lol It’s not that - all of them sound like they’re part of a convoy out of a dukes of hazard episode.

I just find it strange that all I hear are southern accents and everyone else is silent.

Looking for theories and explanations.
