You wanted a review of CB CITY SHERWOOD PARK.
The prices for the CB RADIOS are all high priced! You can get the radios at less than 50% less shipped to your door. Now for the antenna systems they sell for CB RADIO’S are as follows PCTEL MLBDC2700 27-31 MHz is a QUARTER WAVE unity GAIN antenna (meaning no gain)
The next Antenna is a LARSON NMO27c also a QUARTER WAVE Unity gain antenna (Meaning No Gain) but does have a problem of wire breaking in the coil to ground and the plastic cracking
The WILSON antennas are a better antenna than those above but there are no specs found stating any gain there should be some gain if mounted properly and does have a good ground plane.
The other question is the coax they use for antenna installs on mirror mounted antennas is cheap coax poorly shielded and may last a year before the shield gets moisture damage because of the poor quality and the heat shrink tube they use on it is again pointless the pl259 connector is not sealed so using glue filled shrink tube does nothing besides that the glue stops sticking after a while .The k4a stud they use is cheap nickel plating and the stainless steel one they sell is junk and also remember these studs are not sealed so THEY HAVE TO TAKEN APART A COUPLE TIMES A MONTH AND CLEANED .

The prices of VHF radios there are very high and the antennas systems that are sold are as follows
The PCTEL MWV1322HD and is a NOGROUND PLANE so again unity gain with no ground and 2.4DB with a Ground Plane.
They also sell the MWV1322HDs that is the same antenna with a spring I would stay away from the spring the cheap wire braid in the spring breaks and causes all types problems so stay away.
Now for the mounts they sell are all stainless steel and are good but the price is stupid cheaper to buy online and shipped to your door.
The nmo coax NMOKHFUD or MNOKHFME is very thinly nickel plated and they seal with shrink tube (there’s a joke ) The NMO connector is not a sealed connector so sealing the crimp with shrink tube is useless there is other ways but still will not help so a waste of time plus the heat used to shrink the tube will damage the dielectric of the coax causing impedance problems .
The wire they use in that shop to run power is FIRE HAZARD the wire is 14gauge and not thick enough for 20 to 25-amp current draw and the plastic of the wire cracks in the cold. The prices that company charges are criminal and people should stop buying from CB CITY
now for the owner SHAUN HOGG he is a player and will tell you what you want to here and sucker you into buying his crap his work is horrible if you are want damage done to your vehicle he is the guy.
The big thing to NOTE is there is no business license required for Sherwood Park
The best thing to do is stay away from this So Called Company they will rip you off !!!

Thanks for the info, but here is my take on this post...

I find it hilarious you are pissed off about everything but the mounts; also the fact you only got 1 post.. bashing a place I had never heard of or intend to visit, but with this negative publicity you are giving to 'CB City' maybe I will now to seek fortune to these tall claims.

& FYI everything is cheaper shipped to your door, stop touting known 'trash'. Just turn on the radio and be happy fella
