CB IA Digital Question

I recently bought a pro 197 and not really familiar with it. I had Radio Shack program it bc i couldnt figure it out and was getting frustrated. My question is the other night i was listening and there was a fire and they told all the trucks to use A-6... I couldnt get that. Anyone know about that? This is pottawattamie conty.

It says that "Linked to TG 2546 on the ORION System " on the fire dept frequency.
what is the ORION system ?????

Unfortunately, "A06" hasn't been submitted to the DB yet so we don't know what it is. The only Council Bluffs fireground channel submitted to the DB is "A05". To find these TG's, put your scanner in "search mode" while scanning the ORION system. Submit all finding so we can update the database.

Can i do that anytime or only when there on that talk group? Im new to this digital scanner. Also do i just hit search anytime or do i go into something?

A6 is a fireground channel, don't know what talkgroup it is.
A5 is a city wide channel police also use it.
A7 unknown talkgroup is a county fireground
