Sure do, but unless you have either a CB "duckie" on there or have your scanner attached to an equivalent "whip", then you won't hear much. I mainly monitor 27.185 - channel 19 and 27.065 - channel 9 (both AM).
Some days you'll hear meaningful communications between truck drivers or travelers, and some days it's meaningless garbage.

keeping ch 19 in my scanner is helpful in case i come up on a traffic jam and i miss call outs on public saftey, otherwise i wouldnt have a clue as to whats going on
