CBP & ICE Frequencies around Phoenix

I’m putting together my notes on CBP/ICE frequencies, and I’m hoping to get some conversation started to help fill in the gaps. I’m finding that CBP/ICE are encrypted about 80% of the time. However, I hear enough unencrypted stuff to identify some channels. I regularly hear channels identified as “Vote Scan X” or “VSX” for short.

Here are some of the main frequencies used in the Phoenix Area. The freqs listed under the channel are linked together and the same radio traffic is heard on all frequencies simultaneously.

I have also read reference in the forums of VS12 172.4125 that is used north of Phoenix, but I have never heard anything. I have some more freqs that I will post after I put my notes together.

What are some other VSX (Vote Scan X) frequencies that you have monitored?

I believe it's VS5 that I've heard both an MCSO 500K-series deputy and a BLM LEO (BLM 200, IIRC) in the clear on.

Today I heard "BLM 200" on 173.100 NAC 305 (CBP Florence repeater) transmitting in the clear. I'm glad to see that government agencies are working together and sharing frequencies.

P25 LE traffic on 172.4125 probably Towers Mtn. Working operation in Phoenix Valley somewhere.

The reason they go clear is that they interoperate with other agencies and the feds are not willing to give them all their keys only what they call interop keys which most agents can't figure out how to use so they just go clear. WORKS FOR ME!
