I know Warren AFB in Cheyenne had a trunk system in that range, but that freq isnt in the DB for it.

Is this Talkgroup encrypted? If I remember right most of the TG's at FE Warren are encrypted.
If you can get some callsigns i.e. Police 1, Maintenance 2, command post etc, it will be helpful.
I'll try and program them in tonight and listen in.
Any other info would helpful.

I plugged 139.0625 into an HT last night and had a very strong signal, so I am wondering if this might possibly be coming from the Colorado Air Nat'l Guard unit at the Greeley/Weld County Airport area.
They might have installed a new DOD trunking system.
Phil what kind of signal strength are you getting in Greeley? I had full scale on an H/T with rubber duck antenna, never had that strong of
signal from the FE Warren system in Cheyenne.
Just my 2 cents worth.

About 80 to 100% signal on 138.0625 depending on which way I hold the portable. S.E. Greeley FWIW.

Since this system is obviously DOD I would expect Buckley AFB to eventually move to this network from the Fed 400 system.

Not trying to hijack the post, but Offutt AFB, out here near Omaha, for a while was non-encrypted over their P25 system then cut over to encryption shortly after "burning in". They operate over 406-412mhz range. Even the VA Hospital has occasional encrypted transmissions from time to time.

Were there any adjacent sites to go along with this?

No adjacent sites being listed.

Very strong signal here in Fort Collins. Signal is around 98%, both day and night.

Have the Pro96Com logging information constantly, no activity on the site at the present time.

Using a GRE 600 with the Pro96Com.

Will post any new information found.

Okay great, thanks! I'll hold off on creating a database entry until we can gather a bit more information about what we've got up there.

Jeffrey - yeah, it's P25. Anytime you see references to pro96com means (for now) P25 ;)

The question is are there any sites lighting up in the Metro area? So far it appears to be only in the North Colorado area. Coverage for the Grasslands at this point?
