Is there a certain amount of time that the scanner will read a Control Channel before it switches to a new one? (All in same site). Basically what am trying to figure out is if i put the control channels from 2 different sites into one site, what is the protocol for which one gets used and at what points do they switch, if any. (Maybe first come first served or only when the signal from one drops it moves to the next.)

If left to the default of 0, the scanner will spend 1-2 seconds per site that has an active control channel. If you change the site hold time to a value greater than 1, then it will stay on the control channel for the duration you set. Once the scanner detects a control channel in a site, it will not look for a control channel signal on any other frequency programmed for that site. It is not recommended to put multiple receivable control channels in one site. Each should be in its own site.
