cc's for mobile city

travel through mobile from colorado next week
wanting to check out city talk fire ect
i have an pro 93
am i right county is edacs ?
much talk on county system

You don't care about CC's for EDACS systems... If you go to RadioReference you can click on the database and then "AL" "MOBILE" "MOBILE PUBLIC SAFETY"

The county is on Edacs. You can just program one of the site towers into your radio. I monitor the Spanish Fort tower and I don't miss a thing. If you are travelling on I-10 and can, program botht he Bayou La Batre Site and the spanish fort site. When you get through the bank head tunnel, scan the spanigh fort site (if you are heading east) and you'll be sure not to miss anything. You can also copy the county fire main dispatch on 159.165. This is a VHF patch of the 04-001 talkgroup. This is rarely used as a working fireground but it's a busy one to monitor!

I didn't fully read the post. The City is on Motorola and the County is on EDACS. If you just want to monitor the City Fire, just program the city setup. The county system has about 20 or so other departments in the County but not the city.
