Are CC's included in each system on the HPDB? I can't find any?
Control channels? If so yes, if they are known. Are CC's included in each system on the HPDB? I can't find any?
Hmmm...Control channels? If so yes, if they are known.
Yes, OkayI assume that you're asking about Sentinel when you refer to the "HPDB". If so, then yes, with a qualifier. Sentinel includes all site frequencies from the RRDB, however it does not indicate which are control capable. It treats all site frequencies the same, making no distinction between control and traffic.
When you append a trunked system to a favorites list in Sentinel, the sites with their frequencies are included. The sites will be below the departments. If you delete all of the sites, there will be no frequencies. As GTR8000 already stated, all of the frequencies in a site are included, not just the control channel capable frequencies. The control channel capable frequencies do not show up in red when you click on a site. Are CC's included in each system on the HPDB? I can't find any?
You're perplexed, so am I. The Analog frequencies, are easy to find. I knew they were included. But when I have looked for the Site frequencies, I can't find them.I'm a bit perplexed as to why you claim that you can't find any. Did you not compare what Sentinel shows with what is listed in the RRDB for a particular trunked site? Surely you would've noticed that all of the frequencies are included in Sentinel.
I thought they were included. My guess is back when scanner memory was minimal, it was critical to put the bare minimum site frequencies. However with Favorites Lists having a much larger cap, all frequencies (voice and control) are included for programming.
There is not discernible difference to having all of the voice channels with respect to efficiency and speed.
I haven't deleted anything from the HPDB.When you append a trunked system to a favorites list in Sentinel, the sites with their frequencies are included. The sites will be below the departments. If you delete all of the sites, there will be no frequencies. As GTR8000 already stated, all of the frequencies in a site are included, not just the control channel capable frequencies. -But when I have looked for the Site frequencies, I can't find them.

That is Duke Energy, private industry. I am referring to county government systems.-
The site frequencies from the RR database for trunked systems are included in the HP database, not sure why you can't see them.
You're probably familiar with this system based on the location in your profile...
Sentinel shows the departments first in the list for a trunked system, followed by the sites and their frequencies.
In the first pic below, the 4 departments for Duke Energy are circled in red on the left side with the "Eastern Region" highlighted. The TGIDs and their associated info for that department are shown in Sentinel's right side when you highlight one of those departments.

In the next pic, the sites for Duke Energy are listed immediately below the 4 departments on the left side (below the red line) with the "Allenton" site highlighted, and Sentinel shows the frequencies for each site that is highlighted in Sentinel's right side.

The Duke Energy sites start with Allenton, and go down to "Woodys Knob". There are 4 departments and 53 sites under that listing for Duke Energy. Each of those 53 sites that you highlight in the left side will show their frequencies listed on the right side.
Are you saying that your copy of Sentinel doesn't show the sites and their frequencies as shown above?

HPDB is the Home Patrol Data Base (in Sentinel)... Similar to the term RRDB, the Radio Reference Data Base. What's HPDB? Something database maybe?

County systems-
You hadn't made any mention of county government systems previously in this thread, you only said that you couldn't find any site frequencies.
Can you state specifically, clearly, and exactly what systems you are talking about? Exactly where are they located in the HPDB? Post a screen grab of what you are talking about like I did in my post above.
I Chatham County has a VHF system, and that the above CC's are from VIPER.

According to the RRDB Chatham County does not operate on a trunked system, thus this is a real headscratcher of a thread thus far. But the above link would indicate otherwise.

Are CC's included in each system on the HPDB? I can't find any?
You have been asking why you can't find control channels and site frequencies. As mentioned above, the Chatham County VHF/UHF system is not a trunking system... there are no control channels or "site" frequencies involved with that system... that's why you can't find them. That system is clearly shown in the HPDB with the conventional frequencies...I Chatham County has a VHF system,
