CDF have any plans of adding new Inter-op channels

Dose CDF have any plans of adding the new
Inter-op channels I talk to a friend in Louisiana
Who is a firefighter who says that they are using
the New Digital Inter-op channels for mutual
Aid fires on the borders of all of the southeast states

What channels are you talking about? If you are talking about the federal VHF inter-op channels they are not digital, and CDF already has them as channels 151-155 in their standard radio plan.

By the way, CDF does not have digital radios. Their standard mobile is the Kenwood TK-790 and they use Bendix King portables. Both radios are analog.

We are updateing our county fire radios with the new CDF plan. The only real change in narrowband on the fed freqs. It is all analog, and looks like it will stay that way for some time.
