I should go there and ask why Yaesu doesn't go with true APCO P25 on their digital VHF/UHF gear! (Yaesu FT-1DR and Yaesu FTM-400D)

Is there actually anyone using P25 in this area?

As I understand it, the 146.700 system is Motorola Quantar, but the actual amount of P25 usage remains light, at best.

We're out there, using P25 daily.

why would they wanna make p25 gear they have a good thing going now. make abunch of radios p25 which means the other guy has to upgrade also.
