I know St. Clare's bought MIRS radios for their medic trucks to talk to the county and the Morris squads. I highly doubt Cencom is building their own system - it's a huge expense for a non-government agency.
I was talking to a director of one of the hospitals and he said that they talked to him about how many radios he needs and all that, I was just looking for details
I have them programmed to my scanner and they are still VHF. Ihaven't heard that they might go UHF Digital but I don't beleive they will. At least not right now. :lol:
