over the past couple of days they have been rotating control channels
855.6875, 857.7375,

the main id 10960. keep in mind some control channels are site based if you lock on to one that is not assigned to centerpoint you will not hear them.

or it could be something simple like its down.

to me vhf is better a bat chief told me that that there are a certain number of 800 radios and not all engines or rescue might or might not have them.

the way to find out is when they have the weekly radio test is to listen they will say like e-1 800 , or rescue 1 800 .

They are only a few 800 radios and they are used primarily in station fours coverage as alot of spots are "dead" to VHF.
