Centerville Ohio Police Department

Hello, need your help. I've locate what i believe are the Centerville Police frequencies in the p25 system. I own the Whistler TRX-1. I can not hear a thing. It appears there is some action on these 3 channels but nothing to be heard. Do I need to do some adjustment to the settings in the scanner or am i in the wrong area. The one conventional channel that shows up here on this site under cp dept does not work. Thanks.

Centerville PD on MARCS-IP

It looks like Centerville PD is on the MARCS-IP P25 System. I found the following Montgomery County Talk Groups in MARCS-IP.

Ohio MARCS-IP: Multi-Agency Radio Communications (P25) Trunking System, Various, Ohio - Scanner Frequencies

Greene - Greene County: 858.8875c, 855.8375a, 856.8875a, 857.8875a
Closest Greene Towers: 3324 UPPER BELLBROOK RD, CARPENTER ROAD, 2541 US-42.

Just to be safe, I've provided the necessary MARCS-IP info for both Montgomery and Greene Counties.

FYI: The lower case c and a following the frequencies designate the (c) Control Freq and the (a) Alternate Control Freq's.

Bud is correct, they are on MARCS IP. Charles units are Centerville PD units, William units are West Carrollton PD Units.

Yes. West Carrollton PD is dispatched by Centerville PD, and use the same talkgroup.
