Is it just me or are the amateur radio repeaters in the eastern part of Orange county dead? I have been monitoring several repeaters that cover the eastern portion of the county in the vicinity of UCF and I am going for days hearing no traffic on any of them.

If you're listening for analog machines, that's pretty true countywide. Lots of folks have gone DMR. There is DStar activity too as there's a lot of reported repeaters on the air, I just don't know how much activity there is though.
Orange County has every flavor of analog and digital you can imagine for amateur machines from linked analog systems to DMR to P25 to even NXDN. A large majority of that is on UHF these days.

I did mean analog. There are a couple of analog repeaters that used to have quite a bit of traffic that I listened to. One seems to be off the air (145.23) and the other I have listened to for days and no activity. I have a Yaesu System Fusion radio and a hotspot, so I have been enjoying that. Just was curious if I had missed something. The Repeater Book app still has lots of analog repeaters listed.
