Does anyone know what frequency they use if any? Phil says they might use cell phones. Any ideas? Thanks...

Yeah, Osage Co just calls them and they run out; if they need to communicate en rt they use cell phones or a county radio on 156.21.

That's great. I'll just let you guys imagine what that operation is like. Clues would be, pink wigs, big red shoes, maybe a red foam nose....

Central Med

In the Cleveland area, Central Med communicates - when their radios are working - on 155.76 Local Govt. The EMS personnel tell me they are dispatched via satillite phone, and indeed, it looks like they have the appropriate antenna and equipment on board for that.

From the Cleveland Area Hospital, when we need them for a transfer we call their dispatcher in Pawhuska.

None of these folks appear to be in the physical condition you would like to see if they were coming to pull you out of a wreck.
