I have recently upgraded my Uniden BCDx36HP scanners to the new NXDN offering. It seems to work quite well, but I am not seeing much activity here in Central Oregon. I have located one NXDN trunked system which so far has a grand total of two talk groups. I am just wondering if anyone is aware of other NXDN single channel or trunked systems in this region.

Here is what I have so far;

I believe this is a Silke system
454.5375 LCN 131 (control channel)
454.0500 LCN 53
454.3700 LCN 104
The 3 LCN's were confirmed by the scanner during an LCN search.

Talkgroups
195 Towing company
415 Dial-a-Ride bus system?

Thanks!

Univ of Oregon in Eugene was running a UHF NXDN system last I heard. I was building ours around the same time they were and I used to talk frequently with one of their guys. I think he's since retired.

I've been working on some NXDN stuff here in CO.

Silke FleetNet R80-16 is Central Oregon
454.05000 is LCN 131
454.36875 is LCN 104
454.53750 is LCN 131

Silke Fleetnet R80-20 I haven't 100% confirmed location, but definitely not in central Oregon
454.11250 is LCN 63
454.30000 is LCN 93

The current band plan for their 454 is attached. Rename .txt to .csv to open in Excel or whatever.

TG 195 is Consolidated Towing

Others I haven't identified yet.

Redmond School District buses are on 464.4000 RAN 1 (which is Central Mountain Communications).
Redmond School District also has a bunch of portables on various UHF freqs, all NXDN. Working on all these at the moment.

Crook County Roads are on 158.8200 RAN 55 and 151.1225 RAN 56.

All of the above, except Silke, are single frequency systems.

Thanks for the Crook Co Road Freqs. I have some western Oregon NXDN stuff. I'll make a separate thread for that.

Thanks very much for the list it really helped me figure out this Silke Fleetnet system coming in very strong in Hillsboro. I noticed your list had site R80-32 assigned to a different frequency.

NEXEDGE48 Site:R80-32 RAN: 32 NL: 5, 6, 8, 28

454.31250 LCN 50
454.21250 LCN 79
454.21875 LCN 80 Control Channel
454.41875 LCN 112
454.64375 LCN 148

It may have been a misread when I was scanning around while at my hotel near the airport. :)

Your first one, LCN 50, should be 454.03125

So R80-32 might be:
Cooper Mountain (Beaverton)
Ground Elevation: 236.4 m. / 775.6 ft.
Tower Height: 18.3 m. / 60 ft.
Latitude: 45.457778
Longitude: -122.869167

Here's a list of towers I found for the system:
Tower Locations

Thanks for the additional info! Been working on this puzzle for quite a while.

Not sure where this site is, barely pick it up in Redmond. I think it might be Mill City, McCully Mtn.

Current site: R80-20 Silke Fleetnet CC-93 454.3000
R80-20 neighbor: Site R80-6; CC=61 454.100000 Silke Fleetnet CC-61

NEXEDGE48 Site:R80-6 RAN:6 CC=61 454.1000 NL;5, 7, 8, 32

454.02500 LCN 49
454.03750 LCN 51
454.10000 LCN 61
454.27500 LCN 89
454.35625 LCN 102
454.52500 LCN 129
454.60625 LCN 142
454.61250 LCN 143

This is looking more like the KGW site based on the number of active channels and higher elevation. Site R80-32 probably is Cooper Mtn as you suggested.

Hi all
I have started a Wiki page for Fleetnet NXDN system feel free to add or edit as the info comes in.
FleetNet / Silke Communications - The RadioReference Wiki
I have started a database page for this system that is separate from the one in California at the moment because it looks like there may be duplicate sites. Once we figure out how this Mexico to Canada system fits together I may combine the two or more database pages.
The one for Oregon is at https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=9923

I figured Site 27 out, at Wolf Mtn down by Oakridge. Got my first two, non-454 channels!

75 - 454.18750
423 - 461.68750

81 - SCHOOL BUS (COTTAGE GROVE OR SWEETHOME)
145 - FIRST STUDENT - SANDY
275 - SALEM AREA TOWING COMPANY
340 - MT HOOD EXPRESS
343 - VERNONIA SCHOOL DIST
415 - FIRST STUDENT - WEST LINN

*** 81 - I heard the bus driver pulling into the Sisters High school for a track meet. Cottage Grove and Sweethome high schools are competing there today, so it's one of them.

Well your LCN 867 should be 464.4625, which is licensed to Mt Scott. Guessing R80-8 is Mt Scott. :)
